The staff and leadership here at Connection Church is comprised of men and women who love, care and pray for every single person in the church. John and his wife Lisa have been married and involved in ministry since 1997. In his spare time, he loves to fish and she is passionate about running. Together they love their family, their church, and their community. A few years ago, John and Lisa stepped out in faith to plant a local church which currently meets in a retail location where services are held every Sunday morning at 10:30. Throughout the entire process, the Lord was faithful to guide and provide with every new step. For this the Montalvo's give Him all due honor, praise, and glory. "Get Connected. Stay Connected." became the all-encompassing mission statement to which the church was called and perfectly sums up our desire to connect the world to a saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, to Christian community, and to the Great Commission.
Gabe is the Student Minister here at Connection and was called into the ministry at the tender age of 14. He would later begin his journey with Connection Church in August of 2021. When he's not at church, you can find Gabe spending time with his family, his friends, and playing tennis while also pursuing his personal study of God's Word and his heart for church planting. After all, he's the kind of guy who just wants to share the love of God with as many people as he can!
Marlee is attending the University of Mobile (GO RAMS!) and serves faithfully and passionately here at Connection as our worship leader and also works with our student ministry. Catch her in a hall or passing by and she'll be the first to say that she considers herself blessed beyond measure to be able to use the gifts and talents that God has given her in this role. It's her deepest prayer that the Lord leads you to make Connection your church home!
JENNIFER LAMBETH
Children's Minister
Jennifer has always loved children! From their total innocence to their pure love for Jesus, everything about kids lights up her world. Here at Connection she serves faithfully as our Children's Minister and enjoys seeing the happiness on a kid's face when they first learn something new about Jesus or the Bible. For Jennifer, there's really just no better feeling in the world than when that child makes a personal decision to follow Christ with all of their heart and commit their life to Him. She would love for you and your kids to be a part of the Connection family!
LUKE & PRESLEIGH MONTALVO
AUDIO & VIDEO MINISTERS
Luke helps to run audio here at Connection and does so with the solitary goal of glorifying His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Some of his personal hobbies include basketball, flag football, and corn hole. Anyone who knows Luke knows that he loves serving the church! If you happen to bump into him during a visit, be sure to say hey. He might just plug you into a place where you can serve too!
Presleigh is our video coordinator and focuses all of her ministry efforts on the singular purpose of honoring God. She is active in church and in her high school, Satsuma High, where she runs track and plays basketball. It's her joy and delight to serve at Connection in any and every way that she can and she would love to see you join us on Sunday mornings!
