We must agree with God and what God's Holy Word says about us. We are sinners and we deserve eternal death. Do you agree with God and what God's Word says about you?
The Bible says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
The Bible says in Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23)
The Bible says, "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures..."
(1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
The Bible says, "the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
The Bible says, "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
The Lord Jesus Christ died on the Cross for your sins. He died in your place so you wouldn't have to die eternally (Hell.) This eternal life cost Him His life, but to those who will believe in Him and what He did at the Cross and Resurrection will be given the free gift of eternal life (Heaven.) This truly is Good News that He loved me before I called on His precious name to save me from my sins and eternal death.
The Bible says, "But what saith it? The word is nigh three, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that is, the word of faith, which we preach, that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation... For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:8-10; 13)
The Lord Jesus Christ paid the price at the Cross. His life for your life. Will you confess the Lord Jesus? Will you believe that He died for you and that He arose from the dead?
With the help of the Holy Spirit will you simply agree with God that you are who you said you are? A sinner who deserves eternal death. Will you confess that the Lord Jesus Christ is who He said He was? The Son of the Living God and the Savior of sinners. Will you believe with your heart that He died on the Cross for your sins, was buried, and rose again the third day?
The Lord Jesus Christ knowing the thoughts and sincerity of your heart simply pray, "Dear Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins. I confess you with my mouth that You are the Son of God the Savior of sinners, and I believe with my heart that You died on the Cross for my sins and that You rose again on the third day. Lord Jesus forgive me of my sins, give me mercy, grace, love, and eternal life. Thank You for saving me, Lord Jesus. Amen. (John 3:16-17, Acts 2:37-40, 8:35-40, 16:27-32; Romans 10:8-13)
